Yttria stabilized tetragonal zirconia polycrystal (Y-TZP)/0-100 vol % molybdenum (Mo) composites were fabricated by hot-pressing a mixture of Y-TZP powder containing 3 mol % yttria (Y2O3) and a fine Mo powder in vacuum. This composite system possessed a novel microstructural feature composed of an interpenetrated intragranular nanostructure, in which either nanometer sized Mo particles or equivalent sized zirconia (ZrO2) particles located within the ZrO2 grains or Mo grains, respectively. The strength and toughness were both greatly enhanced with increasing Mo content for the 3Y-TZP/Mo composites thus breaking through the strength-toughness tradeoff relation in transformation toughened ZrO2 and its composite materials. They exhibited a maximum strength of 2100 MPa and a toughness of 11.4 MPa·m1/2 for the composite containing 70 vol % Mo. These simultaneous improvements in strength and toughness were determined to be the result of a decrease in flaw size associated with the interpenetrated intragranular nanostructure, and a stress shielding effect created in the crack tip by the elongated Mo polycrystals bridging the crack tip in addition to the stress induced phase transformation.  相似文献

A rare case of left atrial dissection after mitral valve replacement is reported. Low output syndrome developed in the immediate postoperative period. Cardiac catheterization showed marked elevation of the pulmonary wedge pressure, and left ventriculography revealed massive paraprosthetic leakage with left atrial dissection. At the reoperation, the dissecting cavity was successfully closed from inside the left atrium under cardiopulmonary bypass. We consider this complication another variation of an atrioventricular discontinuity after mitral valve replacement.  相似文献

This paper describes a quasi-optical method for the conversion of modes transmitted through highly oversized circular waveguides. A waveguide-mode is radiated once from a waveguide cut in the form of a radiation beam, which is then properly shaped by two curved mirrors and directed back into the waveguide. The curved mirror shapes are iteratively and automatically determined for given propagation distances using the design technique for phase correction mirrors. The proposed method gives favorable results in designing a waveguide expander/reducer, a TE01-TE02 mode converter, and a TE01-HE11 mode converter.  相似文献

Two deacetyl-thymosin β4 analogues containing Phe(4Br) or D-Phe(4Br) as position 12 were synthesized by the manual solid-phase method, and their immunological effects on the impaired blastogenic response of phytohemagglutinin-stimulated T lymphocytes of uremic patients with infectious diseases were studied. Bromination of the p-position of Phe12 resulted in a marked restorative effect on the impaired blastogenic response of T lympocytes compared with that of our synthetic deacetyl-thymosin β4 The synthetic [Phe(4Br)12]deacetyl-thymsin β4 was approximately equal in potency to our synthetic [Phe(4F)12]deacetyl-thymosin β4 in uremic patients, but the other analogue, [D-Phe(4Br)12]deacetyl-thymosin β4, had no effect.  相似文献

The thermodynamic properties (solubility, vapour pressure, density, viscosity, heat capacity and heat of mixing) of the H2O + CH3OH + LiBr + ZnCl2 (9:1 H2O:CH3OH and 1:1 LiBr:ZnCl2 by mass) system using H2O + CH3OH as the working media and LiBr + ZnCl2 as the absorbents were measured. The solubility data were obtained in the temperature range from 270.35 to 389.55 K. The measurements of vapour pressure, density, viscosity and heat capacity were carried out at various temperatures and absorbent concentrations. The differential heat of dilution and differential heat of solution at 298.15 K were measured for solutionw with absorbent concentrations from 0 to 75.2 wt%. The integral heat of mixing data at 298.15 K were obtained from both sets of experimental data. The integral heats of mixing for this quaternary system showed exothermic behaviour. The vapour pressure data were correlated with an Antoine-type equation. An empirical formula for the heat capacity was obtained from experimental data. The experimental data for the basic thermodynamic properties of this quaternary system were compared with those of the basic H2O + LiBr system.  相似文献

A ceramic/metal nanocomposite in tetragonal zirconia-molybdenum system possesses a novel microstructural feature composed of a mutual intragranular nanostructure, in which either nanometer sized Mo particles or equivalent sized zirconia particles are located within the zirconia grains or Mo grains, respectively. Constructing communication protocols from component service specifications, each of which specifies a subfunction of the target protocol, enables efficient development of a large and complex communication protocol. Concerning this construction, related techniques have been already proposed: integration of component protocol specifications into a single protocol specification and transformation of service specifications to protocol specifications. However, the integration needs special knowledge of communication protocols, and the transformation requires that a large and complex service specification should be developed as input to produce the target protocol. In order to cope with these problems, this paper proposes a new method which at first integrates component service specifications into a single service specification, and then transforms the service specification into the target protocol by a protocol synthesis technique. The most important point of view is that component integration is performed at the service specification level rather than the protocol specification level. Additionally, we define a class of ‘well-formed’ service specification which ensures correctness of the target protocol. As a result, the integration and transformation can be efficiently executed in small state space without special knowledge of communication protocols. Finally, we have shown the effectiveness of the proposed method by constructing a part of the real-life OSI protocol FTAM.  相似文献

 In situ reaction of nickel and silicon carbide has been attempted to prepare alumina-based composites containing some kinds of dispersed phases. The composites were fabricated by reducing and sintering of Al2O3/NiO/SiC mixtures. Reaction products (Ni3Si and C) and metallic Ni were found to disperse at the matrix grain boundaries, while Ni was partly trapped into Al2O3 grains. In addition, carbon nanoballs encapsulating Ni3Si were produced and dispersed in the composites. The carbon cages were approximately 80–100 nm in diameter with polyhedral shape, and had lattice spacing of 0.35 nm that was typical for the graphite. Encapsulated Ni3Si had facet planes which were parallel to the carbon layers surrounding. Production of metal encapsulated carbon nanoball within ceramic materials is the first successive result that might promote researches on such novel ceramic composites. The design and fabrication of a GaAs varactor diode for u.h.f. t.v. tuners were carried out using a GaAs double epitaxial layer. The capacitance ratio of diode. C3/C25, is 6.0 and the series resistance at 470 MHz is 0.24 ?. These characteristics are much better than those of an Si diode and well satisfy the requirements for t.v. tuners.  相似文献

Characteristic light emission induced by the oxidation of hydroxyl radicals has been found in plasma of hemodialysis patients (Agatsuma et al., Clin Chem 1992;38:48-55). We purified a primary emitter, a chemiluminescent component peaking at 430 nm, by anion-exchange chromatography and reversed-phase HPLC. By using proton nuclear magnetic resonance and authentic indoxyl compounds, we determined the primary emitter to be indoxyl-beta-D-glucuronide. Absorption and fluorescence spectra of the purified sample coincided well with those of authentic indoxyl-beta-D-glucuronide, as did the peak in the chemiluminescence emission spectrum. Retention time of the purified sample on reversed-phase HPLC, measured by fluorescence, was also in accordance with that of indoxyl-beta-D-glucuronide. To our knowledge, this is the first identification of a primary emitter of low-level chemiluminescence from a biological source.  相似文献
